How It Works
From first visit to first swim
What actually happens between your enquiry and a finished pool.
Site visit and access check
We look at how a digger can reach the plot, what is under the topsoil and where the technical chamber can sit. This visit decides most of the price.
Licence and drawings
We prepare the technical documents and file for the licencia de obra. Expect three weeks to three months depending on your town hall.
Excavation and concrete shell
Digging, spoil removal, steel mesh, sprayed concrete and waterproof render — the stages you will never see again once tiling starts, so we photograph each one.
Filtration, tiling, first fill
Pump, skimmers and lighting are installed and tested, then tiling, coping and the first fill with water balanced before handover.

Which pool sizes have planning prices?

Are terrace and heating included?
The exact inclusions depend on the selected package. Terrace area, heating, cover and upgrades are itemised in the written proposal.
Can you build the pool while I am not in Spain?
Yes, most of our pools are built for owners who are abroad for part of the project. You get photos at each stage — excavation, steel, concrete, waterproofing, tiling — because those are the stages nobody can inspect once the pool is finished.
Why can the pool price change after the site visit?
Three things: whether a digger can reach the plot, what is under the topsoil, and the level difference across the garden. Rock, a narrow lane or a slope each change the method of work, and that is what moves the figure.

How long does building a pool take?
For a standard concrete pool with straightforward access, plan around six to ten weeks on site. Excavation and structure move quickly; the fixed points in the programme are concrete curing, waterproofing and tiling, none of which can be safely compressed.
What does the pool cost to run each month?
Budget for three things: electricity for the pump, water treatment, and water top-up in summer. A variable-speed pump and a cover make the biggest difference to the total — a cover cuts evaporation and chemical use noticeably over a Costa Blanca summer.
Salt or chlorine — which should I choose?
Salt chlorination is the usual choice for permanent residents: it is gentler on skin and eyes and needs less day-to-day handling of chemicals. It still produces chlorine — it just makes it on site. For a property used a few weeks a year, a simpler system can be easier to leave unattended.
What if machine access to my garden is difficult?
It is rarely a reason not to build — it changes the method rather than the possibility. Narrow access means smaller machinery and more site time; no access at all can mean craning over the property. Both are workable, and both affect the price, which is why access is one of the first things we check.
