Algorfa is best known for its two golf resorts, La Finca and El Valle, where most homes are detached villas and townhouses owned by northern Europeans. We have renovated a villa, rebuilt an outdoor floor and built pools there — here is what that work looks like, what it costs in 2026 and what to check with the resort community first.
Creator Company Alicante S.L. (N.I.F. B26705343), based in Torrevieja, has published four finished projects in Algorfa: a complete villa renovation at El Valle Golf with full-height aluminium glazing and a rebuilt pool, a render repair and new terraces for a villa at La Finca Golf, and two private pools on the same resorts. 2026 list prices, before IVA: full renovation €420–900/m² by finish, terraces from €320/m², pools from €13,500 (5×3 m). On a golf resort, the community of owners usually has rules on façades, colours and pools — check them before planning.
The villas on La Finca and El Valle are relatively recent, so the work owners ask for is rarely structural repair. It is updating: opening a façade to the view, replacing dated bathrooms, turning a plain garden into an outdoor floor with a pool, shade and lighting. Many owners live in the UK, Scandinavia, the Netherlands or Belgium, so most projects here are run remotely with weekly photo reports.

The resort community comes first
On La Finca and El Valle, villas sit within communities of owners with their own statutes. Before drawing anything, check what they say about:
- Façade colour and materials — many resorts keep a common palette.
- Glazing and openings — enlarging an opening changes the façade and may need consent.
- Pools, pergolas and enclosures — size, position and what is visible from the street.
- Working hours and access for machines — some communities restrict them, especially in season.
The town hall permission is separate: a renovation without structural work goes by declaración responsable; work on the structure, such as a wider façade opening, needs a certificate from an architect or engineer; a new house needs a full licence. How much does it cost to renovate a golf villa in Algorfa?
At our 2026 list prices, a full renovation is €420/m² at Standard finish, €650/m² at Premium and €900/m² at Luxury, before IVA — €50,400 to €108,000 for a 120 m² villa. Terraces start at €320/m².
Can I add a pool to a villa on a golf resort?
Usually, but check the community statutes first: some limit size, position or fencing. Our fixed prices start at €13,500 for 5×3 m and €14,500 for 6×3 m, before IVA, plus the terrace around it.
Can the work be done while I am not in Spain?
Yes, and on the golf resorts it usually is. The scope and materials are agreed in writing, you get a photo and video report every week, and each stage is paid only after you have seen it finished.
