Not every apartment needs taking back to brick. Here the layout worked and the services were sound, so the budget went into the surfaces and fittings people actually touch.
A single charcoal accent wall gives the living room a focus and costs nothing but paint. Floors are marble-effect porcelain; the kitchen is light grey with a column housing the oven, microwave and fridge, which frees the run of worktop. Both shower rooms were rebuilt: one in book-matched marble effect with an oak vanity, one in white with a round backlit mirror. Track lighting and a new air conditioning unit finish it. A reform at this level typically takes four to six weeks on site.
