Bought from abroad, renovated without the owner present, handed over furnished. That is the brief we get most often from buyers who cannot fly out every fortnight, and it changes how the job is run: everything is decided from a written specification and photographed at each stage.
The kitchen is matt black with an oak worktop that continues into a breakfast table on a steel frame — one piece of joinery instead of a separate table, which is what makes a compact flat work. Floors are oak-effect porcelain in the living areas and bedrooms, with concrete-effect in both bathrooms. Both bathrooms have wall-hung sanitaryware, oak vanity units and backlit mirrors. Wardrobes, beds, the TV unit and the sofa are all fitted as part of the same contract, so the apartment was photographed and listed the week it finished.
