Torrevieja Apartment, Full Reform
A central Torrevieja apartment stripped and rebuilt: wall removed between kitchen and living room, a peninsula in graphite and granite, and a marble-effect bathroom.
Completed apartment reform in Torrevieja
The apartment had the layout every Spanish flat of its generation has: a closed galley kitchen, a separate dining room, and a corridor eating the middle of the plan. Removing one non-structural wall changed all of it.
The kitchen now opens into the living room across a peninsula with a granite worktop and a slim steel leg — it works as preparation space, breakfast bar and the division between the two zones. Floors are large-format marble-effect porcelain laid throughout with no thresholds, which is the single most effective way to make a small flat feel bigger. The bathroom was rebuilt with a walk-in shower, a wall-hung WC, a black stone basin and a backlit mirror. Track lighting replaces the central pendant, and the balcony doors were replaced to cut street noise.
